OPTIONS! has once again collaborated with renowned Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka in the development of an iconic series of Flat Tables!
Flat Tables by Jo Nagasaka are sculptural pieces, created in collaboration with Florianne Eshuis, shop director of OPTIONS!. The tables’ magical forms are reminiscent of shining volumes in space, rendering them both delicate and bold. Antique tables were hand picked to serve as the structural base and each piece was then reinvented in Nagasaka’s vision using local Dutch craftsmen. Every piece is absolutely unique, from the dreamy epoxy colour finishes to the multiple sizes. No two tables are alike. This series is the long-anticipated follow up to the Flat Table series of 2011 that included the largest of the pieces - a giant 7m2 combination of six antique tables.
The OPTIONS!-Nagasaka collaboration started in 2009 during the creation of the temporary LLOVE Hotel in Tokyo with Nagasaka as Architectural Director and Suzanne Oxenaar, Artistic Director of Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy and Hotel the Exchange.
Flat Tables by Jo Nagasaka are available from 5 April exclusively at OPTIONS!
