The four international Lichting judges ( Orsola de Castro, Marieke van Dongen, Corinna Springer, Margareta van den Bosch) chose her colourful carnival inspired collection over the thirteen other collections.
Yvonne Kwok is a 24 year old graduate from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and is a candidate of this years Lichting.
Yvonne paints fashion from intimate inspiration with colors, material and shape.
Her graduation project named: "We dance like little Mary's swaying to the symphony of destruction" is based on the marionette doll with elements of the carnival and with a raw edge of punk.
It has resulted in a very playful contemporary collection with a lot different handwork and materials.
