WORKSHOP 'Create beautiful things .. from re-used plastics'
South African designer 'Mr Re-use and Recycle' Heath Nash and the dedicated team in his design studio produce lamps and other beautiful handmade objects out of ‘other people’s rubbish’. All products are designed and 100% locally handmade in Cape Town, South Africa.
The work of Heath Nash is brought to the Netherlands by From Africa With Love, a gallery and platform for contemporary South African design in Amsterdam, started by Mariette de Haan.
This Sunday, Heath Nash will show you how to create beautiful things from re-used plastic bottles! To participate, bring your own coloured plastic bottles (think shampoo, cleaning etc bottles - please clean them beforehand) and make your own funky design pieces!

WINETASTING
Niels Verburg (Luddite) and Willie de Waal (Scali) will present their South African wines. Verburg is worldfamous for his shiraz and de Waal is known for his elegant pinotage and a special white which is served at the famous (3***) restaurant Oud Sluis in Zeeland.

Heath Nash

Heath Nash and the dedicated team in his design studio (It’s beautiful here) produce lamps and other beautiful handmade objects out of ‘other people’s rubbish’.

The objects are handmade  using galvanised steel wire and carefully collected, washed and dryed and cut out milk and other bottles.

It is a very time intensive process, and for the simplest light that is produced, 240 flowers are needed.

Designed and 100% locally handmade in Cape Town,
South Africa.
